Have You Knitted Yours?

The Royal Wedding

Only two days to go (eek!) until the Royal Wedding on Friday so we are all getting very excited! With over one million expected to descend on London to watch the happy couple many of us will be saying ‘I do’ to a wedding street party….

So how are your decorations coming along? If you are in need of a little inspiration we have the perfect Royal Wedding party pack for the children to get cutting and sticking with! Simply download our Royal Wedding party pack containing bunting, flags and paper chains for FREE via our Activity Zone and follow the instructions.

At the beginning of February we promised you no commemorative china and tea towels! Instead we created the Woolly Windsors – our knitted Wills & Kate – to celebrate the Royal Wedding, but also to launch our new Knit-a-Friend kit.

Well, we have had some fantastic knitted Royal Couples sent in – so a BIG Thank You to all those who joined in the celebrations by making the fabulous dolls. If you still fancy having a go you can! Just download the pattern of the James Galt Royal
Couple from www.galttoys.com.

Show us your knits!

With an estimated TV audience of three billion (40% of the world’s population!) I’m sure there are many who could ‘knit one, pearl one’ while watching the ceremony on telly – With this stitch I thee wed…

Don’t forget our Art & Craft experts have also created a Cute Corgi for you and your kids to make too. Wouldn’t he be just the perfect addition to celebrate the Royal Wedding?

Whatever you are doing this Friday, street party or family gathering, we would love to hear about it – please do share with us…

Enjoy your Royal Wedding party!
